AMEC - Who We Are

The Management of AMEC Ltd came together to pool their many years of experience within the field of Hazardous Remediation to provide a Safe , Efficient and Quality Environmental Management Service for Industry and domestic clients alike. Between them, our management team have in excess of 100 years experience working on hazardous remediation projects ranging in scale from minor domestic works such as Asbestos , Mould and Lead Paint removal to Major Projects such as complete Asbestos Decontamination of Power Stations, Factories , Hospitals , Schools, Retail Premises and Office Buildings, Land and Soil Remediation Projects, Thermal Insulation, Cladding and Roofing Projects. We pride ourselves in our ability to assess and plan all our works from our client’s perspective thereby minimising disruption.

We work with our clients and where requested their staff to ensure confidence in our operations and procedures while engaged at their premises. Works which require notification to the Health & Safety Authority (HSA) are monitored, inspected and certified as complete by independent analytical consultants. All our staff undergo regular training by accredited professional trainers to ensure that company procedures and processes are kept in line with the most up to date Industry Best Practices and Statutory Health & Safety requirements. As required under Health & Safety legislation all our employees are subjected to regular medical surveillance to ensure their wellbeing. Equipment used during the works is maintained to the highest standards undergoing testing and certification every six months by a qualified independent maintenance provider.

All works are surveyed to enable a realistic and comprehensive Site Specific Risk Assessment and Method Statement to be produced.
